Practising mindfulness meditation regularly can help you to learn to focus your awareness and expand your consciousness. This allows you to be able to stay focused on being present. Being able to be present can improve relationships, eliminate distractions when undertaking everyday tasks and projects and increase awareness of yourself and everything around you.
You may also become aware of your mental and emotional patterns and will be able to decide whether they are beneficial or not.
Mindfulness meditation can be practised anywhere or anytime and can easily become part of your everyday life. It enriches your experience of living.
Most of all practicing mindfulness can reduce stress, and quieten ‘mind-chatter’ and allow a better appreciation of those things that you may be taking for granted or take little notice of. It can also allow clarity of thought and a chance to slow the mind down so that the every day chaos of life can be managed more easily.
The group sessions are 30 minutes and cost $5. Limited seating is available or bring your own chair cushion if required. One on One sessions are available.
